What started out as Bethel... has become Kenny, Henderson, and Reed as well. I have organized 18 bars in the area to each hold a 50/50 Raffle and collect donations on the night of August 12th. Some of the bars are choosing to do more. Superior Beverage is printing 5000 t-shirts that we will be giving away with a $5.00 donation. The participating bars are as follows:

5.     Tommy's Italian Wedding Soup with Spinach, Chicken, and Meatballs

Antipasti

5.5     Arancini
Risotto with Ohio Sweet Corn and Fresh Peas, Breaded and Fried Golden Brown, served with Pomodoro Sauce. .

5.75     Polenta with Broccoli Rabe
Oven-Roasted Polenta with Broccoli Rabe, topped with Truffled Wild Mushroom Reduction.

6.25     Tuna Antipasti
Sushi-Grade Ahi Tuna Loin, Grilled Rare, with Vidalia Onion, Garlic, and Red Wine Vinaigrette. The Vinegar was started in 1965 by the late John Piscazzi, owner of The Wine Merchant in Akron, Ohio. Truly, a restaurant as legendary as the owner himself.

6.25     Homemade Mozzarella and Garden Tomato Salad
This is as simple as it is good… The Mozzarella made here. The Tomatoes garden grown. Tossed with Vidalia Onion, Celery Heart, Herbs, and 3 year aged Balsamic Vinaigrette.

5.5     Brushetta
Thick Cut Italian Bread, drizzled with Olive Oil, Grilled and topped with a Green and Black Olive Sauce, Anchovies and Garlic.

5.5     Fried Zucchini
Lightly Battered and Deep Fried, served with Marinara Sauce.

7.     Trio of Shrimp
Served with Poached Fennel, and a Fresh Orange Juice, Gran Gala Reduction. Inspired by my first “Italian” menu at Liberty St. Brewing Company, May of 2000

6.5     Christiana's Sauce – Made-to-order Alfredo Sauce
(named after my beautiful goddaughter)

6.5     Sauce Giantonio – Pomodoro Sauce flavored with Pork and Beef
(in honor of my grandma giantonio)

7.     Sauce Russo – Italian Bolognese Sauce
(for my mentor, and good friend, David Russo)
